I know perfectly well that the only defense for battling another stealth jet with the active radar missiles is to just flare or ECM the second you feel he's on you and it certainly feels very "unsporting" and dare i say "cheap" to even use them in an otherwise enjoyable and fulfilling dogfight with a competent pilot. That just doesn't seem like it could of been intended. Look at it this way, the fastest nose cannon on any aircraft is a velocity of 1200.so the active missiles are 600 faster than the fastest bullet any vehicle in the game can fire. Could that possibly be a game development mistake and it was supposed to actually be 800 in-game and got input incorrectly somewhere along the line? Could this be the source of all the "active" hate, both for jets and ground AA? I mean no missile or even a single projectile I can find in the charts for a vehicle in this entire game is even in the same ball park when it comes to the speed of the active, not even close, not even half the speed.
It sure seems like a hell of a mismatch there for the max speed, 1800 vrs 200 and 350 respectively. Could this be a bug? The shotgun can win in close range battles, but it requires you be extra skillful in getting your self close in where it holds the advantage. If a slower less maneuverable attack jet pulls a fancy move and gets the drop on the stealth jet at close range I don't see why it shouldn't have the opportunity to blast it.Ī good analoge to the type of match up would be assault rifle to shotgun. They could increase the spread, lower the velocity/add drop to the rounds or even make it burst fire instead of letting you wail on a target for 10 seconds continuously.Ĭombined with a buff to stealth jest maneuverability and speed and/or nerf to attack jet maneuverability those changes would make the fight much more favorable to the stealth jets without denying the attack jet a fighting chance.
IMO I think the best thing they could do to balance attack jet cannons would be to adjust accuracy in some way that would make it inefficient to try and dogfight. I don't know if that is a good solution since it doesn't make much sense to have the same rounds do less damage to a target that has lighter armor. It works in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari don't know about MSIE but probably works in IE 10+.Nerf the attack jet against air targets, give it the current stealth jet damage values against air. The site loads 2 megabytes of CSV data so please give it time to load and render. Ie: the data is biased towards the players who play the most. The "top 5000 players" that are in the dataset are actually the top 1000 players on each of 5 platforms as ranked by rounds played on May 2, 2014.
BATTLEFIELD 4 STATS PC
PC players are quite different from the consoles, I think mostly because of custom server settings (longer rounds, more players). It's also interesting to see the differences in players by platform (dot color). OTOH my relative team score to total score is much higher than the typical player, which I think reflects that while I'm a bad shot I do pretty well Playing the Fine Objective. Turns out that puts me below the main cluster of players the average KDR for the top players is 1.4 and the average WLR is 1.6.
For example I have a terrible 0.6 kill/death ratio but a respectable 1.3 win/loss ratio. I built this was because I was curious if there are different kinds of players out there. You can also load your own personal stats from the BF4Stats API on top of the scatterplot and compare yourself to other players. It makes scatterplots for the player population of statistics like skill score vs time played, win/loss ratio vs. I want to share my new project, graphs of stats for the top 5000 BF4 players.
